Making An Apperance

Hello.... anyone there?
Sorry that I made a brief dissapearence on this blog, I apologise and I am back!
I think I owe everyone and apology for where I have been this past month, not that I haven't wanted to blog its just ive been so busy that I haven't hardly had a moment to myself lately, but now as I sit here in the library waiting for El to finish her assignments ive finally got 5 minutes to let you into the know about whats been going on.......
Since we last spoke I have just got a job working at Leeds First Direct Arena, considering I already work at McDonalds this is my little second part time job to keep me occupied during the days that im not in uni and also to earn some extra drinking pennies. I work on the consessions stand which basically means the bar, I serve drinks and food to people that are coming to see the concerts, Ive worked a few shifts with some exciting acts performing such as Disney on Ice, Russell Howard, Premier League Darts, X Factor and tomorrow the wonderful Gary Barlow but as glamourous as it sounds I don't get anywhere near the acts but I can hear the show so basically im a blind person at a concert, its not all that bad. The people that work at the arena are lovely as hell, everyone is so friendly and you always seem to work with a different crowd of people every shift. Im hoping that if I impress them il be able to work in the hospitality suites where all the stars are, not hoping for much as its only part time whilst im at uni.
Secondly I have just sorted out my accommodation for next year, Im going to be staying in the city center of Leeds in a large development that have 34 floors and its lovely, Im living with a whole new set of people from what I am living with this year and my room im moving into is lovely and so big, compared to what I have now and the view is stunning, im on the 23rd floor so hopefully I wont be feeling sick up there.
Also it's deadline time at uni, ive literally just finished my last piece of coursework now which im absolutely buzzing about, im so pleased that ive finally finished it all and have not lectures or seminars till September, now all ive got left todo is my placement during the middle of May which I can say I am not looking forward to as its a complete cockup and its in the worst place in the world. I am currently trying to find a new one as there is no way in hell I am going to this placement that the uni have given me.
Lastly, Easter holidays begin next week and im so excited to go home for the next month even though il be working full time at McDonalds. My plan for Easter is to earn as much money as I can even if that means working 6 days a week on 9 hour shifts, I need those pennies.

So Hopefully that has fulfilled you all with what has been happening lately and why ive been missing, I promise to be more regular from now on.

My Valentines Date.

Valentines Day has finally approached and I as a singleton I always see the day as any other day. Yeah there may be sloppy couply people mooching around snogging each others face off but you can just get by. So instead of going out this Friday night, I shall be spending it in with my fellow singleton flatmate El and we shall get ridiculously fat from sweets and sugary drinks, we may even get a cheeky take-away!

Ive made some tips to help people that are feeling down on Valentines Day and what they can do to make there day a little bit better.

1. Find your single friends and go out, to either bowling or the cinema, yeah its full of couples but you can observe them and make decisions whether that couple is a keeper or a week long relationship and also its a night out which is always fun with your chummies.

2. Buy yourself a present, yes this may be considered sad but who doesn't love splashing some cash on themselves. Go shopping get a new dress or a brand new pair of shoes. GO FOR IT!

3. Spend the night with your celeb crush! This may be Ryan Gosling or Zac Efron, anyone that takes your fancy. Just have a movie marathon of all the hot guys that are beautiful and enjoy!

4. Celebrate cheap chocolates day! 15th February is always the best day to buy chocolates, its like the boxing day sale of Valentines.

5. Think of the money you are saving, this one contradicts the other but if you haven't got to buy a card or a gift for a partner it means more money to spend on yourself!

So just enjoy the single life! Remember Valentines Day is just forgotten about on the 15th and then you can start looking forward to more chocolate at Easter!

Tall Girl Problems.

Being tall some might see as a luxury as your glamorous, you have the height of a supermodel and your legs look amazing all the time, but trust me it's nothing like that at all we have our fair share of problems which I'm going to share, due to myself being 5'11 and 3 quarters, I've had to endure all of these things, so please share me some pity.

Taylor Swift is me with guys.

1. When people ask me if I play any sports?
I know exactly what they mean, they are assuming I'm a professional basketball player or a volley ball player from my height and they are so shocked when I tell them I'm a lazy so and so and I do bugger all, all day! Although I was soooo damn good at Netball at school!

2. Dress or Shirt?
You know when you buy a beautiful new dress and you can't wait to wear it tonight when you go out with your friends, you get home and you put the dress on and immediately it looks like you are just wearing a shirt and there is no way in hell you could get away with wearing this dress unless you wore a pair of legging which makes you think, whats the bloody point in wearing this dress?

3. Awkward dancing with your friends.
We all do this when your in a club with all your chums and your favourite song comes on, all you wanna do is freaky dance to it, but being tall makes this a little bit harder as you are standing out against all your shorter friends. THIS IS NOT FUN, I REPEAT THIS IS NOT FUN!!

4. Wearing Heels.
Wearing heels is in my opinion like the sexiest thing you can do on a night out, yeah it hurts like a bitch but as long as you legs look sexy that's all that matters in my opinion, but being my height makes this a bloody hard job. I don't want to be the girl when all my friends are wearing heels, I have to opt for flats just to be nearer the same height as them, but at the end of the day il still be taller :'(

5. Leg room.
Being on a flight, at the cinema or on a train you will never have enough leg room, you will always be crushed and no matter what position you get in you will never be comfortable, end of.

6. Feeling terrible at concerts/movies.
Ive had this experience before where you are at a concert and the person behind you is moaning that they cannot see because there is a green giant in front of them, but I'm sorry I paid the same amount as you so I am not going anywhere. I always end up being quite nasty to the short people around me, but it cannot be helped I was privileged with these legs so hahahahaha.

8. Shoes - Jeans
Being tall usually means that you have large feet and this is so bloody hard to find a pair of shoes in your size and nice shoes at that. You walk into a shop and ask do they do your size and you always get the expression that says 'are you Big Foot?' It's so depressing! Finding jeans or any trousers that fit your leg length is also a mission. I would shop at Long Tall Sally, if it wasn't called Long Tall Sally.

9. Men
I swear down tall men are only interested in small girls and short men are interested in tall girls, what is with that? Whenever I go out I'm on the hunt for a tall Mr Grey and what do I get? the shortest guy in the club, I don't want to break my neck dancing with you, sorry.

10. Meeting new people.
The first time someone meets someone tall the first thing they say is "God! you're so tall!" If you meet a tall girl do not say this to them, they already know.

So I hope you have enjoyed my little insight into being a tall girl, lemme know what you think and if you agree or disagree or whether you have any more points I can add?

Liebster Award

I have been nominated for the Liebster award by many different bloggers which is very flattering, thank you guys! Here are all the lovely people that nominated me;

Liebster Award was created by a German blogger to give the chance of new bloggers to be appreciated by others and the chance to share undiscovered talent that had 200 followers or less. All I know is that you answer the questions asked that you have been tagged by then you nominate another 11 bloggers and give them 11 questions to answer.
I have decided to go with the questions from Jennie just from picking anyone at random.

Okay so here are the questions and of course my answers….

1. What are your opinions on tattoos?
I feel that tattoos are up to personal opinion, if you want a tattoo and it means something to you then its fine, I don't want to judge people on what tattoos they have as I don't know if the tattoo has a meaning or a purpose, so each to their own.

2. If you got a tattoo what would it be, where would it be on your body and why would you get it?
I'm never sure on how to answer this question, I can't justify having a tattoo on my body forever, I get worried that I will regret it. At the moment there isn't anything that I really need tattooing on me so nothing at the moment.

3. What music genre is your favourite?
Most likely pop music, I love a really cheesy tune to listen to but I also love acoustic songs and also indie music, I'm a all rounder when it comes to music, I will listen to anything.

4. Trousers/ Jeans or Skirts/ Dresses?
I'm mostly a jeans type of girl, I love the feeling of jeans and I'm especially a fan of black skinnies! I do like to wear a dress but only on special occasions ;)

5. What are your favourite shoes and why?
This is easy, my Chelsea boots. I love them so much, they go with everything and are the most comfiest shoes I own by far.

6. What's your favourite make up brand?
High end makeup id say MAC but for more cheaper makeup id say Collection 2000.

7. If you could only visit three shops/stores for the rest of your life, what shops would they be?
My favourite shop to go in Leeds is Harvey Nichols, I love it in there, its heaven! Id also choose TopShop and The Apple Store.

8. If you were a sweet/candy what would you be?
I'd be a Twirl chocolate bar.

9. What is your favourite band/ music artist?
My favourite band is One Direction, not because of the music but I love their personalities, but for music id choose McFly, I bloody well love them boys!

10. Have you ever been to a concert and who have you been to see that was your favourite?
Ive been to quite a few concerts, McFly, TakeThat, Busted, Girls Aloud, JLS, Michael Buble, RollingStones, One Direction and a few more that I can remember off the top of my head, my favourite has got to be the Rollingstones concert, that was the best thing I've ever seen in my whole life and the atmosphere was amazing!

11.What is your favourite city in the world and why?
My favourite city has got to be Bridgetown in Barbados, I have so many great memories there and its such a beautiful city, my second favourite would have to be London!

Here now the bloggers that I am nominating;

Now here are my questions

1. Why did you decide to start blogging?
2. Who is your favourite Youtuber?
3. Favourite colour nails?
4. Earrings or Necklaces?
5. Who is your favourite music artist?
6. Night out or a night in?
7. If you could have magical powers for one day, what would you pick and why?
8.What 4 words can you use to describe yourself?
9. Do you prefer going to the shops or shopping online?
10. What is your favourite season?
11. Name one skill you wish you had?

Thank you very much for reading and I hope you enjoy spreading the blogging bug as much as I do!
