Busy Month!

Hey All,

Haven't updated again in a while ........ need to stop saying that every time I blog. just wanted to let you know that I am still alive and breathing. Ive been really busy lately with uni and going home at weekends to work, that I just haven't had the time to blog.

At uni all the deadlines have been looming for my different modules and I'm getting so stressed out that I don't have a clue what is going on half the time! Next week I'm dedicating myself to go to the library and start writing my essays! I just really need motivation at the moment as its currently on 0!

Had some big changes at home the other week as I had my mole removed from above my lip which is huge news to me as I've been waiting forever to get it removed and its finally happened and I couldn't be happier! It looks great now its been removed and it hasn't left a mark either, Im so happy with the surgery it didn't hurt one bit and the results are amazing! But even better news, the day before I had my surgery I got to meet my favourites boys again MCBUSTED, I literally could have died with excitement. I knew they were coming to Lincs FM on their radio tour and I was coming home from Leeds that day, so as soon as I arrived home I got my dad to take me to Lincoln to meet my favs and they didn't disappoint they were beautiful and as always Tom was such a cutie!

(Matt Willis)

(Me and the beautiful Dougie)

(Me and D-Dawg)

(Me and Tom)

(Me and the wonderful Harry Judd)

(Me and James looking like he hates his life!)

(AWWWW I bloody love Tom!)

So after having the best week ever, me and Daisy treated ourselves to go to Hyde Park fireworks in LEEDS, (don't think like my work friends and be convinced I went to London) which was great is was so busy but we had a great night. Then I met up with my old flatmates in Headingley for drinks, it was great to catch up and I'm glad I went!

At the weekend I went home to go back to McDonalds to earn some more money and then decided to go out to the fireworks again, love going home to see my chummies!

Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Hey guys,

Thought i'd just pop up a quick post.
Last night myself and Daisy popped on a train from Leeds to Manchester to go see Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph & The Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat, which featured X-Factor's Lloyd Daniels, Over the Rainbow's Danielle Hope and Eastender's Matt Lapinskas.

As being a huge Joseph fan since I was a little girl, I had high hopes for the show and was excited to see how they had adapted it since the last time I saw it. (2011 with Keith Jack as Joseph) I remember always wanting to be the narrator when I was growing up and after watching the movie I feel in love with Donny Osmond as he will always be my perfect Joseph.

If you have never seen the show before then you definitely should, its a Andrew Lloyd Webber classic and has been around since 1969! It's based on a story called 'coat of many colours' in the Bible's book of Genesis. Although the story is based around a biblical story, the catchy songs make it definitely some uplifting family entertainment. Also check out the DVD of it with Donny Osmond in and you won't regret it!

Okay, as I was saying I went to see the show in Manchester with X-Factor reject Lloyd Daniels *remember him?*
as Joseph, I was worried that he wouldn't be up to my expectations as I worried that he wouldn't be able to keep up with my expectations and hit the notes in 'Close Every Door' but he didn't disappoint and was really entertaining even with his welsh accent. Danielle Hope also exceeded my expectations as she was fantastic as always, I have previously seen her perform in Les Miserables in the West End. The cast is put together by 21 people who all put on an amazing show.

Il give you a quick over-view of the show so you get the jist, The narrator begins the show singing about a man who can interpret dreams and can tell you what they mean, after that Joseph is shown and 'Any Dream Will Do' is played which is always a crowd pleaser! Then the story goes on to explain that Joseph's father gets him a multicoloured coat to show that he is his favourite son, even though he has 12 sons. The rest of the boys get jealous and sell Joseph and he is taken to Egypt and brought by Potiphar. Potiphar's wife tries to seduce Joseph and in a rage Potiphar banishes Joseph to jail. This is when my favourite song is played 'Close Every Door' this is where Joseph is feeling his lowest and is depressed and also the children's choir makes this song beautiful! After this Joseph meets Pharaohs Butler and a Bake and he explains what their dreams mean and what Pharaoh has in store for them. They tell him that Pharaoh is having weird dreams that need explaining and Joseph goes to Egypt to explain Pharaohs dreams to him. Pharaoh makes Joseph his second in command. You then start to wonder what happened to Josephs brothers? Well they are back in Canaan and they are starving so they decide to go to Egypt to get food from Pharaoh. When they arrive in Egypt they do not recognise Joseph and he gives them food but puts his golden cup into his brother's Benjamin's sack, unaware the brother start to leave when Joseph shouts for them to stop as one of them has stolen his golden cup. He threatens to throw Benjamin into a cell and throw away the key. The brothers try and make Joseph change his mind and by this Joseph can see that his brothers are now honest men and then reveals himself. After they go back to Canaan to see Josephs father, Joseph arrives in a golden carriage and sings 'Any Dream will Do' again and everyone joins in.
Sorry if that made you bored, just thought you should know the story incase you didn't.

So yes as you can see i'm extremely passionate about the show and if you get the chance please, please, please go and see it as I've said before you will not regret it!

Ive had a tough couple weeks, my dad was in a car crash which wasn't his fault and my mums car had to be written off due to the damage and also I've been crying at work from being bullied by a manager.

Im happy to be back in Leeds to clear my head, make new friends and get back into University. I shall be updating my blog more often now I have more free time and I haven't started back at my job in Leeds so let me know of any new blog posts that you would be interested in seeing. One Direction Weekend!

Hey guys, this is gonna be a long blog post!

This is over a month too late but I guess its better late than never so here is my experience at One Direction when I saw them at Wembley, London on 6th June 2014.

I went to see One Direction with my best friend Aleesha, We went to London on the Friday morning and stayed till the Sunday evening. It was such an amazing and memorable weekend with my favourite chummy. We stayed at the Tune Hotel in Westminster next to the London Eye, the weather was brilliant all weekend and we both got seriously burnt and looked like tomatoes. The hotel was average but we only wanted a room and thats all we cared about, the location was brilliant too.

Once we arrived in London we went straight to our hotel to drop off our luggage and then we were straight out the door to enjoy the sunshine. We walked by the London Eye and header towards Leicester Square to explore, we knew that we wanted to see an musical before we arrived in London and decided to see what was nearby, we looked at Les Miserable, Wicked, The Book of Mormon and we decided to go see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, we didn't have tickets so we were hoping for cheap on the day tickets, we went to the box office and the most helpful man offered us two tickets for the cheapest price, he told us they were in the balcony which was being refurbished so that we wouldn't be able to use our tickets and later that evening they would be able to upgrade us to better seats for free. Me and Aleesha were sold so we headed back to Leicester Square to go to Pizza Hut for tea and then waddled back to Dury Lane to go back to the theatre. We were then upgraded to front row seats for the show and had the best view of the stage for the cheapest price, we were amazed! The show was brilliant and all the cast were fantastic. I would definitely give it a 10/10, the songs were also so catchy too!

On Saturday this was the day of One Direction and I have never been so excited in all my life! We went to Camden Lock in the morning as Aleesha has never been and I love it there! We walked around all the stalls and also went for drinks in Weatherspoons before deciding where to go next. After checking my city mapper for some time we decided that we would go check out Primrose Hill and see if we would spot some celebrities as we have never been there before. We got the bus from Camden to Primrose and we didn't have a clue where to go! We followed a few people and eventually reached a humungus park and after walking in 30 degree heat up the steepest hill ever!
But once at the top we had the most beautiful view of the whole of London it was stunning!

After sunbathing in the park we decided to head towards Swiss Cottage tube station to get ready to go to Wembley, we stopped in a nearby Starbucks to charge our phones and make use of the toilet and admired all the big and expensive houses around us and imagined what it would be like to live here. I would move there tomorrow if I could!
Once we arrived at Wembley it was complete madness the Tube station was heaving and I've never seen so many people in my whole life. The atmosphere was amazing everyone was so excited to see the show and I couldn't help but treat myself to some cheeky merchandise and got myself a programme and a festival wristband.
We then got to our seat which were in the tears of the stadium which I think was better than standing as I was peeing all night after drinking 5 pints of much needed Cider. 40 quid down the drain!
5SOS came on and were fantastic as normal as this is my third time seeing them! I was loving the songs whilst Aleesha only knew 'She Looks So Perfect' and I filmed the most cringest video of me singing along which I shall never share as I would die of shame!

Half an hour later and finally the theme music for 'Howling For You' is played and I know my boys are coming! After short little montage of 1D walking through various parts of the world they all appear and the roar of screams surround the stadium. 'Straight of the plane to a new hotel' echoes throughout the stadium as Harry Styles begins Midnight Memories to my delight. The show consisted of playing all my favourite songs, various hip thrusts and lots of fireworks. Im not going to lie and say it was the best show I've ever seen at Wembley as it wasn't, Ive seen Take That there and that was one of the best shows I've even been to and I'm not even a Take That fan, I felt that they boys were lazy and didn't utilise the stage, after all that is a huge stage think of all the other things they could have done, don't get me wrong I enjoyed the concert as the singing was great but I felt that they lacked showman ship.

We then battled the crowd to make our way back to the Tube then back to the hotel and didn't arrive home till at least 1am!

On the Sunday we dragged ourselves out of bed and decided to head to Brick Lane Market, another one of my favourites to explore. We had an amazing Halloumi lunch and then headed back into the centre of the city to go see the Gumball display on Regents Street. The Gumball display was a large rally with David Hastlehoff there and also they gave out free Krispy Kremes which were delightful. After heading out from Regents Street I check my Twitter to discover that Harry Styles is apparently sunbathing in Primrose Hill, in a panic me and Aleesha head straight over to Primrose in hopes of seeing the bushy haired boy. We arrive at Primrose, no luck at all! I was gutted it would have made all my dreams to have met him or at least spotted him. We then decided to take our sorrows back to Kings Cross to head home.

Overall it was a fantastic weekend and I loved every minute of it with my chummy and wish I could relive it all over again. Sorry for the length of this post I got carried away! Here are now some shots from our weekend!
